GETTING THERE
Getting to Warkworth and the Matakana Coast is an easy drive along State Highway One from downtown Auckland. Warkworth is only 60 km North of Auckland City. Public bus transport is available between the township and Auckland on a daily basis.
Warkworth has a relaxed, outdoor lifestyle and a beautifully sunny sub-tropical climate in summer. Winters in Warkworth are very mild. The temperature range is from 24° average in summer to 12° average in the middle of winter.
