Glenice
Glenice Ford is the Director at WISEL. Glenice is responsible for the high quality pastoral care and teaching programme. Glenice makes sure that all the students receive a high quality, friendly, learning experience in the school and a secure, safe, comfortable experience in their homestays.
Glenice is a very experienced manager of international student programmes both in private language schools and local high schools.

Kevin
Kevin Ford is the Marketing Director at WISEL. Kevin is responsible for the School’s marketing, international relationships, community relationships, and day-to-day management.
Kevin has many years’ experience in business involving tourism, sales, marketing and financial management in senior positions in large New Zealand companies.

Shannon Ford is the North Asia Marketing Manager for WISEL, based in Tokyo, Japan.
Shannon has lived in Asia for the last 10 years, in Japan and China. He speaks fluent Japanese. Shannon has been working in Japan in education and business, and client management. Shannon’s role is to develop and expand WISEL relationships with international agents and students throughout North Asia.

Debbie
Debbie Thackwray: BA (University of South Africa) TEFL (Rand International Language Centre)
Debbie has been university lecturer and ESOL teacher since 1996. She has taught a wide range of both general and specialist ESOL courses to students from many countries, including Business English, Cambridge English courses, and English for special purposes. During her career Debbie has lived in South Africa, Indonesia, and Korea, and she enjoys understanding the teaching needs of students from many different cultures.
Debbie is the Senior Teacher at WISEL. She is responsible for setting course curriculum, assessment planning, course supervision, and making sure that your studies at WISEL are to a high standard.
Linda
Linda Pereira BSc (Waikato), PGDip Education (Auckland), Cert TEFL (TTI, England), PGDip Soc Science (Massey)
Linda has been an ESOL teacher and TESOL teacher trainer since 2000. She has taught adult students all levels of English, including IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL exam preparation. Linda has a life-long passion for learning and teaching, and is currently working towards her Masters in TESOL at Auckland University.
Linda is a Teacher at WISEL.
Tracey
Tracey Stanley-Hunt
B.Ed (Auckland), DipTeaching (Auckland)
Tracey initially trained as a Primary School teacher, before moving overseas to teach ESOL in Japan. She has several years experience of teaching students General English.
Tracey is a Teacher at WISEL.
Marilyn
Marilyn Convery BA (Auckland), RSA Dip TEFL (Cambridge), RSA Cert TEFL (Cambridge), CLTA (AIT), Dip Teaching (Christchurch)
Marilyn has been an ESOL teacher since 1991. She has designed and implemented intensive English courses, and has filled the role of Director of Studies and Acting Dean. Marilyn has taught ESOL at all levels, and currently specialises in teaching higher level ESOL students and English for Academic Purposes.
Marilyn is a Teacher at WISEL.
