Accommodation
WISEL has a carefully selected network of homestay providers, who provide high quality homestay accommodation for our students.

- We choose our families very carefully. Homestay families are part of the WISEL family: they take part in our community activities, and we are constantly talking with them about how we can improve the experience of our students in Warkworth and at WISEL.
- All homestay parents are approved with a police clearance. We make sure that our homestay families are safe, healthy, and emotionally supportive environment for our students. We make sure that all our homestays understand the specific cultural and religious needs of our students.

- WISEL students quickly become part of their homestay family. They take part in family activities, and can practise their English in everyday situations.
- Students are provided with breakfast and dinner every day and all meals on Saturdays and Sundays. They provide their own lunch when attending classes at WISEL.
- Most homestays are within a 10 minutes’ drive of WISEL. Some are much closer, within walking distance.

- No more than two students are placed in any homestay. Students are not placed with another from the same country. While with their homestay families, students are expected to speak English.
- All homes are regularly inspected by WISEL staff.
- The Director at WISEL is available to deal with homestay issues.
There are two types of homestay accommodation available to students at WISEL. Please have a look further in this menu for the types of Accommodation available at WISEL.
