The purpose of this Course is to provide students with an elementary level of English so that they can survive in an English-speaking environment.
The Course is designed for students who have a beginner’s level of English, but wish to advance their skills so as to be better able to manage in an English-speaking environment. Students will be able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
Students will be able to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Students will be able to describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
